SF Improv Playhouse is a world-renowned ensemble coming to Solano County for one night only!

These stories take place on a single set, in traditional stage-play style. The improvisers play one character each, and there are no built-in transitions or scene breaks . All the actors have is the bare stage, a simple suggestion from the audience, and each other.

The Naked Stage combines San Francisco’s tradition of narrative longform improvisation with the demands and surprises of traditional theater. In a sense, the actors are “trapped” on stage with only each other. Without the usual exit options (lights, time and location jumps, and other scene-enders), they are left to fully confront the characters and situations which they have created in the moment.

Who should attend? Artists! Actors! Dancers! Singers! Acrobats! Anyone interested in finding out more about film & theatre!

TABBS is partnering with The Benicia Theatre Group this year to celebrate theater opportunities for all ages in Benicia! Students can wear a Drama program t-shirt or costume of choice as they march in the parade and hand out candy (costumes must be appropriate for wear in a school setting). Student actors and their families will be marching behind the Benicia Theater Group float.

TABBS will provide flyers and candy to pass out as well as organize participation.
